Geeks Who Drink Private Events

Well, we host private events. We don’t drink private events. We’re geeks who drink and also host private events. If you want to drink at your private event, that’s fine. Or don’t drink at your private event! That’s fine too! There’s absolutely no drinking required here.
Hold on. Let’s start over.
Did you know that, in addition to our weekly trivia quizzes across America, Geeks Who Drink also hosts private events? That means you can make our zany trivia and impeccable hosting part of your wedding, corporate event, birthday party, seance, or any other kind of social function you’re responsible for planning.
Okay, maybe the seance is a stretch, but we have done wakes!
Our illustrious and adaptable Private Events team has worked with all kinds of crowds and all kinds of conditions. We’ve worked with both small businesses and big Fortune 500 companies like [REDACTED] and [REDACTED], which we can’t talk about because we’ve signed NDAs. We’ve run virtual games both at the height of the pandemic and for parties with members spread out across the globe. We’ve been at backyard family reunions and in enormous convention halls.
What is it like? Well, when you work with our team, a GWD private event can really be like anything. You’ll get a whole quiz of safe for work content, which can even be tailored to suit your needs and interests. Our goal is to make sure that everyone in your group can participate, enjoy, and learn something new. We also offer private Boombox Bingo events so you can play music bingo with your music friends with your music taste.
If you’re still grappling with the endless possibilities, here are some very real events and quizzes that Geeks Who Drink has hosted in the past:
- A quiz entirely about potatoes for a food distribution company;
- An event for a governmental secret society (Shhh!);
- Multiple custom rounds on aerosol over four years of events for a national research non-profit;
- A virtual event in Singapore which required our quizmaster to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 2AM to account for the time difference;
- Three quizmasters working in tandem across multiple rooms to accommodate more than 700 people in one quiz! That’s 90 teams!
