Hello all, I am Kyle and I would love to be your Quizmaster this evening.

I have an irrational love for all things nerdy, I am terrible at pronouncing geography, and I tend to go a bit megalomanic on my blog.

For any and all further questions, catch me at one of my quiz locations.

Wow, every aspect of this week came down to the very wire. Kyle's Special Coupon (trademark pending) was won by 2 points and 1 points in either direction respectively, the middle scores were an absolute pileup, and the winner tonight won in sudden death elimination.

Now I could have made the representatives of the two teams do a dance off, or chug beer, or tar and feather themselves, or any other humiliating act that I could think of. However, since I figured as I am the quiz master, there was already enough humiliation on stage going on, a simple elimination question would do just fine.

This week we mocked people who never played N64 (seriously, there are people who exists who never played Ocarina of Time), we rocked out to 8-bit music (8-bit Nirvana was better than the original), and we got caught up on our musicals about sex dolls.  In other news, everyone hated round 1, the 50/50 round 3 was always more difficult than it was supposed to be, and Idris Elba is the hottest man on earth.

See you next week!

The Oscars came and went, The Trailblazers beat the Spurs above my head, it's sunny in Febuary, the warm weather is destoying our mountain snowpack, and not many people care about quizzing. But those that do are a committed lot. Whether sun, rain, sleet, or (more accurately) continuous drizzle, they will be out in force. Also, I didn't even have to say bad words today or have my masculinity mocked in team names. It was a win-win for everyone, and by everyone, I mean everyone that matters, so basically just me.

This week at the Ram, we found out the website is inaccurate (we start at 8:30 for the record), we learned that a Govenor is something you put on an engine (or a state) to slow it down, I consult a physician about a 4 hour duration, and we discovered that classic literature translates to street justice.

Our favorites got upset, which makes for a good quiz for everyone but them. The team that wanted 4th Place had their wish come true. And gunning for second to last doesn't have a viable exit stratedgy other than just "lose horribly".  Along the whole way, I confused a lot of old people with references to BitCoin and Dungeons and Dragons. Sounds like a good week to me.

Here was the bounceback week we all were waiting for. Eleven teams, lame Christian Parodies, an incredibly difficult round one, and a whole lot of driving Kyle insane with terrible spelling and grammar (hence the title of this blog).

This week we made fun of the Patriots extensively (be calm my still weeping heart), thanked the universe that we don't live in Boston right now (for a variety of reasons) yet by the end we still decided that God Hates Cleveland (and probably Minneapolis as well).

Here are a listing of random thoughts that I had while quizzing this week:

  • Can a city still be considered a "hellhole" if its oppresively cold?
  • I didn't realize how quickly someone could write the name "Galifianakis"
  • How do magnets even work yo?
  • Did everyone forget that 2004 Slipknot was a thing?
  • Mantis Shimp are freaking cool!
  • Babe Ruth would be one of the best people in history to get a beer with.
  • The Sony Spiderman movies really sucked.
  • Women that won a Grammy before the age of 23 produced some truely terrible music.
  • Dov Charney probably paid off 5 Seconds of Summer.

See you all next week!
