Let's talk about me, finally.

Sean McNeil once said, "I don't know how you can be so arrogant yet hate yourself so much."  Thanks, Sean.  To answer the question you did not actually ask, I do not know how I pull it off but I do and it works.  That is, if you consider mind-boggling neurosis and crippling depression "working" but let us just go with it.

I live in Seattle yet I am originally from New Jersey.  That means I am a bastard.  Do not say "GTL" around me, I will cut you.  I may cut you anyway, since I have issues.  I got introduced to this whole pub quiz world when I went to a quiz at my current venue with two friends and a sociopathic girl without a soul.  After the soulless girl left my life I noticed that Geeks Who Drink was hiring in Seattle and I thought, "Oh my, this seems like a great place to feed my ravenous narcissim as well as fill the hole left by the soulless girl with lots of meaningless sex, perhaps finding some girl and trick her into loving me."  Well, it did not quite work out like that, but I am still trying. 

In the mean time, I really enjoy having everyone listen to everything I say and deconstructing them verbally when their actions do not please me.  Or verbally deconstructing them because I am bored.  Also drinking lots of whiskey.  I feel like my father.

Patrick hails from the mean streets of (suburban) Detroit. Quizzing since he was in middle school, he is no stranger to trivial knowledge. His friends posit that is the reason his head is so large.

Outside of the bar you can catch him being handy around the house, hiking, and doing whatever he can to be outside.

He will tell you he has a healthy interest in Arrested Development, but you should know that whenever you bring up the show, it shifts a little bit.

Patrick was recruited by GWD on the not as mean streets of Boston. They trained him and shipped him to Austin, TX, where he currently works. The Austin staff has been on record saying how great it is to have him in the rotation, often citing his charm, wit, experience, French kissing abilities, and his humility.

I like going places and doing stuff. I read a lot- often the same books over and over. Top 5 movies- not in any particular order: The Last Unicorn, Clue, Ghostbusters, Labyrinth, and Babe: The Gallant Pig. I do not oh and ah over babies- I, in fact, dislike children very much.  I work at an Elementary school. I was the Prom Queen in high school.  My graduating class had less then 20 seniors, but it still counts bitches. It still counts.

Howdy! My name is Katie, I enjoy long walks on the beach, pasta, and Christmas lights in July. The first things people notice about me are my subtle sense of fashion and my typically reserved demeanor. I have a penchant for video games, with a fixation on SNES games of yore. I'm only 5'2", but I make up for it by wearing 4-6 inch platforms. I host at what is soon to be the most happenin' quiz night in Houston, be there or be square.
